RCL Remote Power Switch

RCL Remote Power Switch. TUse this electronic switch to toggle power on/off to any axillary on-board device using a 2-position switch on the TX (transmitter) tied to an available channel on the RX. Two identical output channels for connecting up to 2 LED Controllers. Pins can be soldered to for a hardwired connection. Pins can also be removed if they will not used. RPS output pins align with the WHITE-RED-BLACK wires of the switch itself. The WHITE output pins are the SWITCHED GROUND (-) connection that actually toggles power to the connected device(s). The RED output pins are POSITIVE (+), the same positive as the RX it is plugged into. The BLACK output pins are constant GROUND (-), the same ground as the RX it is plugged into. For standard +/- switching use included 1x2P housings to convert the 3 wire link cable into a standard wire extension by removing the black wire from the assembly. Then plug the blue wire into RPS top or bottom row of output pins following polarity BLUE-RED, WHITE-WHITE. Then plug lights (or other device) into the other end of the wire extension POSITIVE-BLUE (TOP PWR PIN); NEGATIVE-WHITE (BOTTOM PWR PIN ON LED CONTROLLERS). If a RX Direct2LED™ will be used, discard or save the 3 wire link cable for future use. Plug the RPS into an available RX channel tied to a 2-position switch on the TX. Plug the 1x3P connector side of the link cable (or RX Direct2LED™) into RPS top or bottom row of output pins. Use wiring polarity BLACK-BLACK, BLUE-RED, WHITE-WHITE with the link cable. For RX Direct2LED™ use wiring polarity RED-RED, BLACK-WHITE. Plug the 2x2P connector side of the link cable into the 10 LED Controller; jumper removed, notch UP. LED CONTROLLER OPTION SELECTION DIP SWITCHES LEFT SWITCH (1) AUTO-OFF AT SIGNAL LOSS : If enabled all power to the outputs is switched OFF any time a bad signal is recieved, or the TX is turned off (this feature is generally disabled for most lighting applications). RIGHT SWITCH (2) SIGNAL REVERSE : Reverses the TX signal input (changes which position of the TX 2-position switch is ON) SWITCH OUTPUTS TOP ROW (SIDE WITH SWITCHES) LIGHTS : WHITE-WHITE, BLUE-RED, BLACK-BLACK (3 WIRE LINK CABLE); BLACK-WHITE, RED-RED (RX DIRECT2LED)
